2012 Electra Mining Exhibition

Over the week of 10-14 September representatives Peter Gaal and Shaun Philpott, of Magnet and Energywise respectively, attended the Electra Mining trade exhibition in Jo’burg. The exhibition is ranked as the second biggest mining show in the world, and attracts visitors in the region of 35 000 across the construction, mining and power generation industries. Magnet supports Casual Day 2012

Casual Day 2012 took place on Friday 7 September. This is a worthy cause that raises funds for persons with various disabilities. Beneficiaries include DEAFSA, Epilepsy SA, Disabled People SA and NCPPDSA, to name a few. Purchase of a sticker entitles you to wear casual clothes to work, alternatively, to dress according to the theme set by the Casual Day Team. This year’s theme was “Captains, Sailors and Pirates”.
