Magnet's 40th Birthday Celebration

On the evening of 27 October 2012, Magnet hosted close to 300 clients and esteemed guests at Moses Mabhida Stadium in celebration of our 40th birthday. Guests were treated to welcome drinks and canap√©s upon arrival, as well as some thrilling entertainment in the form of a photo booth, the musical stylings of jazz band Beat-Route, and the enticing showmanship of magician Mo Magic, who mingled with guests and performed various tricks and illusions. Rittal Product Launch

Magnet recently announced our distributorship of Rittal products at two launch functions held on Wednesday 30 October at Sica's Guest House. Clients were invited to attend either the breakfast launch function held in the morning, or the cocktail function held that evening. Clients were treated to meals and refreshments as they viewed product presentations by Rittal SA MD Steve Venter. Magnet Paint Project

A few Magnet staff recently travelled to Amaoti Township to paint a creche for 49 underprivileged children between the ages of 1 and 5. Amaoti Township is the largest informal settlement in KZN and is home to over 80 000 people. In association with Angel Projects, Magnet was afforded the opportunity to make a difference in these children's lives by painting and decorating their creche. Tin Tuesday

Magnet delivered 564 tins of various canned foods to the Aryan Benevolent Home in Chatsworth. This charity is a registered non-profit organization which takes care of children, the elderly and persons with physical or mental disabilities who have no one else to provide for their needs. Sister Govender, a spokesperson for the charity, was extremely appreciative to Magnet for this donation. Magnet supports Casual Day 2013

Magnet went BIG this year in support of Casual Day. Staff wore their biggest and best party props according to the 2013 Casual Day theme, "Go Big or Go Home". 100% of the proceeds raised from the sale of Casual Day stickers benefit persons with disabilities. Magnet is very proud to once again be part of this wonderful initiative.
